Mark L. Jones

Mark is a Senior Vice President for Citra Health, responsible for Strategic Business development and Channel management, based in Charlotte, NC. Mark has over 20 years’ experience in working with large, national and regional clients including health plans and health systems, leading high performing client facing teams to develop and implement long- and short-term business strategies. Encompassing, financial analysis and forecasting, transformation and administration of health and welfare benefit programs. Mark’s expertise covers a range of subject areas including, employer sponsored health and welfare, population health management initiatives, total rewards, consumerism, wellness and ancillary benefits. In addition, Mark has expertise in developing and implementing value based care models including medical home care (PCMH) healthcare delivery solutions. Mark also has experience in Merger & Acquisition projects including overseeing the integration process (Cigna acquisition of Healthsource Provident). He has presented to numerous industry groups including NBGH, ASHRM (hospital industry vertical), and North Carolina Hospital Association. Mark’s consulting clients have included: Partners Healthcare, UNC Rex Healthcare, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, HMSA (BCBS Hawaii) Boston Scientific Corporation, Evolent Health and CaroMont Healthcare. Mark has a MBA degree in finance from the University of New Hampshire. He is also a Certified Financial Planner. Mark is a Member of the American College of Financial Planners and has a Six Sigma Green Belt.
